Christian Lacroix scented candles need special care, thanks to 10% perfume.
Allow the candle to burn until the entire surface is liquefied. After extinguishing it, make sure the wick is upright, and cut it to 0.5 cm before lighting it again. This will ensure that your candle burns efficiently without smoke.
