Origin: Veneto, Italy. Selected vineyards on Masi. The soils are sedimentary clayey with a bed of fine gravel.
Characteristics: The color is crimson red with purple hues. Attractive on the nose with aromas of dry spices, small fruits and vanilla. Very dense on the palate with an excellent taste of ripe blueberries, plums, cinnamon and spices. Well balanced with soft tannins.
Serving suggestions: Complex, serious wine, excellent company for grilled or roasted meats, game, full-fat mature cheeses. Wonderful wine for the end of the evening. The optimal serving temperature is 18˚С. Potential for aging 10-15 years.

Dry, dense, with a soft finish, this is a new wine from the Veneto region – Super Venetian, made from semi-dried grapes of the Refosco variety.

Сорт: Рефоско | Wine production: The different grape varieties are vinified separately by mixing at the end. The grapes dry on wooden grills for about 50 days, thus losing about 30% of their own weight, gaining a strong concentration. The fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature for 40 days, using cultured yeast. Malolactic fermentation begins while the wine is still in the same tanks. The wine matures for 24 months in 600 liter barrels of Alier and Slavonian oak, where it completes its malolactic fermentation. Then 4 months in a bottle. |
